One pot chicken meal

This is a recipe we came up with on one of our camping trips. It was thrown together in a cast iron dutch oven over an open fire. And was a real winner. I am typing it in here so I don't lose the recipe.

1 med. onion, chopped
Lots of butter
Brown in the dutch oven.
Add 1 package of cut up chicken breast. Brown.

Add:
1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
4 cups water
1 Tbsp. onion onion seasoning (Tastefully Simple) or similar

Bring to a boil, add:
1 cup brown rice (soaked previously is preferrable)
1 tsp. salt
Shake of curry

Cook for 30 min or until rice is almost done, add:
1 can pinto beans
2-3 cups fresh green beans (optional)

It turns out to be sort of a stew and it was wonderful. The green beans were a last minute add on, you could use peas or nothing green or throw in whatever sounds good. We like to experiment.

Enjoy!
(P.S. I will be making this at home too not just on camping trips!)
